Hello Tan,
Host is using 2 ports for connection. Most likely one of them is open and another is closed. Or your proxy is only blocking ssl on this ports, which is not required for checking the accessibility of the Server.
Don't hesitate to ask me, if you have any questions.

Hello,
Sorry for the delay in the response.
We can't reproduce your issue with your settings on our envinonment. So the reason must be in your network connection.
In the next version of Remote Utilities remote connection stability under low speed or unstable network connections will be significantly improved. That will solve your problem.

Thank you for your message.
Could you please specify which circle exactly do you mean? On the connection thumbnail in Viewer or on the Host tray icon?KV Tan wrote:
The host PC shows a "blue circle" indicating that it's able to connect, but I can't connect to it using the Viewer.

Hello Henrik,
Thank you for your message.
This issue was solved by changing the connection to direct through the IP-adress instead of the Internet-ID. But this option is not available for machines without external IP-adress.
Could you please send me your Host log file so that I could help you. You can find it in C:\Program Files\Remote Utilities - Host\Logs folder.
Looking forward to your reply.

Hello Sakari,
We are not able to reproduce this issue in our environment. Could you please clarify, is there any antivirus software or firewalls installed on your Host machine? And how often do you get this "Duplicated ID" issue?
Looking forward to your reply.

Michael,
Could you please open Task Manager on the Viewer machine and on all Host machines and check, if our processes rutview.exe, rfusclient.exe and rutserv.exe use too much memory or CPU when the connection becomes slow?
Looking forward to your reply.
