Hello Evgeniy,

Thank you for the clarification.

Unfortunately, we do not plan to add similar features in the nearest future. However, we will implement a slightly different feature that will allow managing tasks like yours.

Let me know if you have more questions.

Hello Johnny,

Thank you for your message.

Unfortunately, we do not plan to change the location of the toolbar. However, we might implement a feature that will allow dragging/relocating the toolbar to another edge of the screen in our future updates.

There are currently few options available for the social media login: google account, twitter and facebook. Could you please let me know what's the email address that you cannot log into, so we could look into this? You can send the email address to support@remoteutilities.com if you don't want to share it here.

Looking forward to your reply.

Hello,

Thank you for your patience.

Unfortunately, there is no feature in Remote Utilities that allows you to display different windows on separate local monitors.

I'm sorry if this makes the program less useful for you.

RU server address book lost all entries

Hello Aaron,

I am sorry for a somewhat misleading previous reply.

Unfortunately, the address book backup is not provided for the RU Server yet, but we plan to implement this feature in our future updates.

You can restore the Server address book from the Viewer's address book or its backup. The Viewer's address book backups are located in the C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Remote Utilities Files folder. Please note, note that the AppData folder may be hidden. You will need to enable "Show hidden files and folders" in your system first.
To restore the address book on the server's side, please set up a sync server role by following this guide. Then you can just drag the connections and folders to the new synced address book in the Viewer.

Please note, that the connection in the address book does not affect the Host being online or offline - it only depends on the Host being online/offline and if it's available to connect to. Also, please note that the address book synchronization does not affect the ability to connect to the Host. For more information on the connection statuses, please refer to this Documentation article.

Hope that helps.

Hello John,

Thank you for the clarification.

I checked with our developers on the issue. The multiple display handling also depends on the remote monitors' configuration. Could you please clarify if the remote monitors are rotated? Also, could you clarify the scheme of how the remote displays are located?

Also, try switching the CPU usage mode to Normal and setting the Color Format to 24 bits as it will reduce the CPU usage.

Looking forward to your reply.

Hello Aaron,

Thank you for your message.

Is there a backup of the address book I could restore?

Yes, to migrate your address book(s) and sync settings, please copy the contents of this folder:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Remote Utilities - Server\data
to the same location in the new installation. You can also copy the Logs and Stat folders if you need the logs.

Also, here's a relatable KB guide on migrating the RU server installation, it might be helpful as well: https://www.remoteutilities.com/support/kb/how-do-i-migrate-ru-server-self-hosted-server-to-another-pc/

Hope that helps.

Hello Evgeniy,

Thank you for your message.

Could you please clarify if you're using the Auto-import feature? This feature can replace the Send via email feature available to you within the MSI Configurator and save you a lot of time manually adding connections to your address book.
If you do use the auto-import feature, could you please clarify if I'm right in assuming that your feature request is having multiple Inbox folders for different address books? If you mean something else, please elaborate a bit more on the question.

Looking forward to your reply.
