Hello Alex,

On the window it's the Host configuration window, not the Viewer. It looks like you have non-standard DPI settings set in your system (i.e. other than 100%). Is that the case?

In order for Remote Utilities WoL feature to work, the following requirements must be met:

1. The Host is in direct visibility to Viewer over LAN. Viewer and Host must be on the same LAN subnet because WoL magic packet, generally, isn't routeable across subnets by definition.

2. You must connect from Viewer to Host at least once so that the Viewer could derive and cache the MAC address of the Host.

If the problem persists it could be caused by a bug that we have already found in the most recent version and this is going to be fixed in the nearest subminor update.

I would recommend that you try installing Remote Utilities monitor driver and see if the issue persists. In version 6.9.x.x the driver installation is disabled by default (the corresponding checkbox in the installation wizard is unchecked). But you can install the driver after the Host has been installed - just open the Host settings, navigate to "Driver" and click install near the "Monitor driver" option:

Could you please send us the Host log to support@remote-utilities.com. You can locate the Host logs in the C:\Program Files(x86)\Remote Utilities - Host\Logs\ folder. The log should contain information about connectivity problems if any.

Another question - you are using Internet-ID connection, correct?

Indeed there were issues with IE/Edge that require updating the printing driver. We will update it together with the very next product update which is coming very soon (within a week or two perhaps).

We are currently investigating our options when it comes to resolving the closed lid issue. Unfortunately, this issue may potentially be caused by factors we do not control (such as how the display is shown in that state) and that may even vary from hardware to hardware. We will do our best to resolve the issue though.
