Hello Ginger,
Thank you for your message.
Could you please clarify if the window is visible on the remote Host machine? Please try enabling the Capture alpha-blending windows feature. Here is a related KB article: https://www.remoteutilities.com/support/kb/some-windows-or-menus-are-not-visible/ Hope that helps.
Also, you can try using the File transfer mode. For more information on the File transfer connection mode please refer to this article: https://www.remoteutilities.com/support/docs/file-transfer/
Hope that helps.

Hello Andrew,
I wanted to add some information to my previous message, as there is also a better solution than re-installing the Hosts.
In case if you have a unique token for each Host in the authenticator app, then you simply need to open the Host Settings, navigate to the Security section -> 2-step verification and click Show QR-code:
Scan the showed QR-code with the authenticator app on your new phone, so the token for the Host is added to this phone as well.
If you have multiple Hosts installed from the custom MSI installer, then you can open the Host Settings menu and click the same Show QR-code button on any of the Hosts that were deployed using this MSI installer. Scan the code via the authenticator app on the phone, then you can use this phone for 2FA on any of those Hosts as they all have the same token.
Let me know if you have more questions.

Hello Ivan,
Thank you for the clarification.
I'm sorry if this made the program less useful for you.
Thank you for the clarification.
It's unlikely that the issue is related to the environment, as we managed to reproduce it on a Windows version.Do you think that this issue affects many users or is it something related to my environment (say OS version)?
I understand. However, while we do have this fix on our wishlist, there are lots of complications and the priority of it is much lower. I'm sorry, but it's unlikely that we will be able to release the fix for this issue any time soon, as we have more pressing priorities to implement.I am surprised that no one has reported this so far, because with the default cursor settings it is a pain to work with terminals or dark text editors.
I'm sorry if this made the program less useful for you.

Hello Martin,
Thank you for your message.
This depends on the Operating System of your device. If the device comes with the Windows 10 Home with the S mode turned on, unfortunately, you won't be able to run RU.
However, if you have upgraded from Windows in S mode to the Windows 10 Home, then Remote Utilities should be running as usual.
Hope that helps.
