windows 7 / 10 mouse movement on host
Hello Max,
Thank you for your post.
Your settings are correct. This is by program design - when you move your admin mouse pointer the remote mouse pointer also moves, but not vice versa. So inevitably if you once move your remote mouse pointer (by physically moving the mouse) and then the admin moves hers the remote pointer will "jump" to the admin pointer location.

Hello Micky,
Could you please to try to completely re-install the Viewer. See our documentation on how to fully erase the program from your PC: https://www.remoteutilities.com/support/docs/installing-and-uninstalling/#uninstall-viewer . Then download and install the Viewer from scratch and add the program to your antivirus software exceptions list just in case.
An improvement should be much better so it's unlikely to be the intermediary server issue. The type of issues you describe could arise on the Viewer side rather than on the Host or server side.It may only be 10% better than going through the default server option.
I continue to get timeouts, cursor disappears, characters get lost. etc etc.

Hello David,
Thank you for the kind words.
While we do have this suggestion on our wish list , it is not among our immediate priorities simply because with so many free messengers around (Skype, etc.), corporate conferencing tools and the like it would be suboptimal for us to try to replicate this functionality. Our specialization is purely remote access/remote administration, rather than communication - especially when it comes to communication between hosts rather than between admin and host.
Don't hesitate to ask me if you have other questions.
