This feature already exists. See a tiny asterisk at the top right corner of each of the two file transfer panes. Click on it and select 'Add current dir..' to the list of bookmarks.

You can also juggle the entries within the hotlist by clicking on the 'Congifure..' menu item.

- A files/folders synchronization tool between the client and the server will be welcome. It will help to save time and bandwith.
This tool may be added to the file transfer mode.

Bonjour, Genie

Thank you for your suggestions. We'll split them up into several topics ("one suggestion - one topic") and will deal with them separately.

Stay tuned.

Thanks.

Getting started guide

Thank you for using Remote Utilities. This short guide will help you get started with the program.

Remote Utilities consists of three separate modules:

- Viewer, which is installed on the local PC from which you wish to connect to a remote PC. For instance, it may be a laptop you take with you on a trip.

- Host, which is installed on remote PCs. It may be, for example, your work PC in the office, or your desktop PC at home. You need to install this component on every remote PC you want to control remotely.

- Agent, which is a no-installation zero-configuration module for ad hoc (spontaneous) remote support. This module does not require administrator privileges.

Remote Utilities is very flexible. You can connect to a remote PC using either:

- A direct connection. In this case you need to use the remote PC's IP address or DNS name. With this type of connection you can connect in a LAN and over the Internet.

- An indirect (mediated) connection. This feature, called Internet ID, is useful when you want to bypass firewalls and network devices, such as routers. All you need to know is remote PC's ID and password. No network configuration is necessary, except in some extreme cases, when the network environment is very restrictive.
