iphone screen display problem

Hello Les,

Did you upgrade mobile Viewer and/or the remote Host? I.e. is it after the upgrade that this behavior occurs?

If you upgraded remote Host to the latest version (6.0.0.4 as of Jan 13, 2015) I recommend you restarting the remote PC. Also, please check if you have the latest iOS client installed.

Hope that helps.

Android Lollipop support

Hello Nick,

Remote Utilities Server - Just finished testing

Hello Martin,

Thank you for the kind words! So often users only write on the forum when something doesn't work, but very rarely - when something works as it should  :) Much appreciated!

Upgrading GMS 1.3 to Remote Utilities Server 2.0

Hello Ron,

You can simply uninstall the old server using Uninstall a Program in the Control panel and then install the new server.

Hope that helps.

Connection Issues - Single point in network not accessible

That's good news.  :)  Don't hesitate to ask, if you have other questions.

Issue with RDP from offsite

Hello,

Could you please check the RDP settings on the remote side, namely the security settings. They might be too restrictive to allow the client to connect.

Issue with RDP from offsite

Thanks for the info. I will escalate this issue to the 2nd tier support and get back to you soon.

Remote Printing from a Thermal Receipt/Label Printer

Hello,

Thank you for your message.

Could you please elaborate more on the format? Do you have the same result if you "save to PDF" first and then transfer the PDF file over the network to the local computer, then print?

Also, does the same issue happen when you try to print from other remote PCs?

6.0.0.4 Too Many Issues

Hello Michael,

Thanks for the feedback. I'm sorry if you experienced issues with the new version. But in retrospect, I can tell that this happens with each new major release - we expect to spend the first couple of months fixing bugs and releasing smaller updates (e.g. 6.x and 6.xx) even after the initial (in-house) and beta testing. All until the new version "settles", so to say.

All in all, we are planning to move to a more granular approach with more frequent updates than we did before. That of course means that you'll have to update the program more often, but you can always check the version history log to see what fixes are available. The upgrade process is never automatic so you can control what version you have.

Anyway, I should say that your post-release feedback was immensely helpful.  :) We'll do our best to live up to your expectations.

Issue with RDP from offsite

Yes, that would be nice. I also recommend to try it on a workstation as well (e.g. Win 7, 8 or 10) to isolate it in case it's a server-related issue.
