Hi Tom,

Also answering here :) Yes, it is confirmed that we will remove the landing page in this upcoming release. I agree that it's a real nuisance for customers.

Hello,

Sorry for the late reply. Something went wrong with forum notifications.

No, we don't yet have API. Perhaps in the future. But we do have command line parameters.

Hello,

It's the Host rather than Agent that you install, because it's only the Host that can be configured using the Standard MSI and One-Click installer options.

Anyway, you make a good point here and we'll definitely consider including this feature to our roadmap. Thanks!

Thank you.

The WOL uses UDP port 9 (see this article about Wake-on-LAN)

Hope that helps.

Hello Cenk,

Sorry for the late reply. Well, the Android (and iOS) based version is under way and will be available soon. At first, though, it's going to be pretty simply but we'll add more features down the road.

Updated Knowledge Base

We have significantly revamped our Knowledge Base. Now it has categories instead of tags which makes it much less cluttered than before. Also, feature descriptions now reside in Documentation whereas the Knowledge Base is only used for providing solutions to known problems. The content has also been totally re-written to reflect recent changes in the software.

We hope you'll like the new KB. Your suggestions on the articles that can be added to the KB are always welcome.

Pop-Out Monitor

I followed your suggestion of unchecking tab view and I was able to launch 2 connections. Each connection is now pointing to a different monitor. It is a little clunky but it does work.

You can launch two connections even if you do not uncheck tab view. In this case one remote connection will open in two different tabs.

Now my request would be an option to have it done automatically. :)

You mean opening a specific monitor right away?

Yes, the free GMS software is for those who want to completely control a firewall bypassing connection (without our company servers involved, that is). It's free of charge (albeit requires at least one Remote Utilities license).

Sorry there is no tutorial on GMS yet, but instead you can use the GMS Help viewable here https://www.remoteutilities.com/support/docs/ru-server/ . We are going to create a more concise GMS tutorial soon.

What a great piece of Software!!

Hi Jerry,

If you need any assistance with configuration (no matter after the purchase or in the trial mode), don't hesitate to ask here on the forum. Alternatively, you can send us an e-mail to support@remote-utilities.com and we'll help you.

Also, I recommend this documentation that covers all the essentials.
